This page is being developed to keep residents and motorists informed about this 2011 project to widen Fenton Road from the Fenton City Limit to Butcher Road in Fenton Charter Township. 

Current Status:

April 8:

Due to the proposed City of Fenton Leroy St. rehabilitation project which is scheduled for 2012 construction, the Road Commission is delaying our Fenton Road widening project until the 2012 construction season.  This schedule will help the Road Commission coordinate the design and construction  of our project with the City’s.

February 15: Public Information Meeting at Township Hall:

The meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, February 15th at the Fenton Township Hall, 12060 Mantawauka Dr., from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. The open house began at 6:00 p.m. and was followed by a formal presentation at 7:00. This presentation reviewed the project assessment report which summarizes the purpose and need for the project and project impacts. View the report.
