Road
Transfer Agreement Signed
At
its meeting of Tuesday November 5, 2002, the Board of County Road Commissioners
signed an agreement with the City of Burton to transfer 35.83 miles of primary
roads in Burton to the City. On hand were Road Commission Chairman Galen Jamison,
Vice Chairman David Miller, and Commissioner Bonita White, as well as Road Commission
Manager-Director John Daly. Burton was represented by the Honorable Charles Smiley,
Mayor; Streets Superintendent Ralph LaDuke, Council member Bob Centilli, and former
Council member County Commissioner Ted Hammon.
